We recently went to Hartbeesport to visit KLS lasers.
They are a laser cutting and engraving company which mainly specialise in laser cut home decor and personalised gifting.
KLS lasers was established in 2018 by a couple from Rustenburg. Their passion for travel sparked and interest in how crafts were made, and when researching this they came across a laser cutting machine, which they later bought and started making simple items like earrings. They then taught themselves how to make bigger and more complexed designs.
They have since employed 2 young adults from Lethabong, Rustenburg. KLS wishes to grow and transfer the skills to their own community, especially to empower the youth and enable them to create things of their own.
